With so many babies in the house – being 7 new ones and their one-year-old – laundry was a part of every day. In fact laundry became such an important task that it occurred about 17 times a week! The family was forced to buy two of everything, including a washing machine and a dryer.

With so many babies eating so much, they were making their way through something like 52 diapers on a daily basis! It makes sense, seeing as they consumed around 42 bottles every day. Everything about the septuplets was becoming costly, so the McCaugheys needed to make a plan.
