Who woulda thought that the wonderful Kirstie Alley once portrayed the Vulcan/Romulan hybrid Lt. Saavik in Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan? It’s a small world. After this, she went on to co-star in the long-running television series Cheers, and numerous others. Who could forget all her works in film as well? Nope, no one.

Vulcan Valeris – Kim Cattrall
Far enough, Kim Cattrall’s role as Samantha Jones from Sex and the City is iconic but so is her time on Star Trek. Her character, Valeris, was mentored by Spock no less and she went on to became the first Vulcan to graduate at the top of her class. In the real world, Kim even helped to design her character’s headband, suggested her hairstyle, and also helped in naming the character! The rest is history.
