Alicia’s Views On Electronics
Before Alicia landed a leading role in the movie ‘Diary of A Whimpy Kid’, the star actually had to audition for the part. She had some pretty extreme views on electronics and later said in an interview that “I told them that my kid goes to a school where they don’t use electronics”. Alicia believes that “We do not want little people on devices. Airports and airplanes? Yes” However, she believes that kids should still be kids. She added “not during the week when they can be out playing and out in the world and enjoying life.” Maybe the Clueless star sensed that she might have been a bit too opinionated in the audition, and added “so after the audition, I worried, ‘They probably think I’m a little extreme’.”

Will She Let Her Son Watch Movies?
In June 2017, Silverstone starred in the box office hit, ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul’. At the red-carpet premiere Alicia had some pretty emboldened views on letting Bear watch movies. When she was asked specifically whether she would let him see some of her past work as he gets older, Silverstone replied: “I think it will be fun when he gets older,” she said. “Some things I’ve tried to show him and I’m like, ‘Oh, it still feels [like] he’s [too] young.’ We’re a pretty no movies and TV family, so I’m very mindful of what it is that he sees, but in this case, I’m in it. It has a free pass.”
