If a biker is arrested, he must turn it over to another member to avoid tarnishing it while incarcerated. If he is injured or needs to undergo an emergency procedure, he must do everything he can to keep it from being torn or cut.

They Follow A Dress Code
In reality, there is some slight variation among the charters. However, the members all follow a general dress code. A Hell Angel shared that he was only allowed to wear black shirts, jeans, and vests upon joining the group. There are even charters that do not allow shorts.
