Bobby and Karen were both happy when Officer Matthew Bailly finally arrived. He was sent by dispatch as he was the police officer nearest to Poe Place. He knew there was no time to lose here. Karen needed to give birth then and there. It had only been a couple of minutes after he responded to the call to help out a pregnant woman and deliver a child. This was certainly not a regular day at work for him.

Officer Bailly boasted of emergency reaction experience so he just needed to stay calm and collected. He was not an obstetrician or medical personnel, however. He stayed with Karen’s doctor on the phone the entire time to ensure that everything was going smoothly. For someone as inexperienced as him, it was a challenge to deliver a baby. However, Matthew managed to live up to the occasion and do what needed to be done. Karen delivered a healthy baby, and everyone was glad for his assistance.
