Cows

While it is common for animals to be discovered in sewers and drains, cows may be the last on the list. In China, a cow was discovered in a sewer after its owner spent four days seeking for it. The only reason it was discovered was because the owner noticed a peculiar noise coming from beneath the community. The lost cow stuck its head up as the manhole cover was lowered. Of course, it was immediately retrieved. Nobody knows how it got there in the first place.

Graffiti Art

There is an extensive network of sewers and underground water networks beneath the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Many people are unaware that a local street artist named Zezo has created a whole collection of abstract graffiti art. He was going through a hard patch in the early 1990s, so he went underground and began painting. That became his own form of treatment. His artwork complemented his workplace and portrayed a source of water.
