As the drainage process went on, more items surfaced. There were mopeds, bicycles, and wheelie bins at the bottom of the canal! There was also a toilet down there. It had clearly been adding to the canal’s murkiness, so it was important to retrieve it. People found its presence there funny. However, this was not the only unexpected item down there. They also found bigger objects at the base.
