Trump Tower
As his wealth kept growing, Trump was determined to make an impact on the history of New York City. He wanted to change its skyline by pushing for the development of his Trump Tower. It eventually received the approval and started construction. It was ready in 1983. This is a photo of Trump with the model of his Fifth Avenue complex, where “one of the apartments will sell for $11 million and [Trump] claims four bidders – none of them Americans – are bidding for it.”
