His Hairdresser
Aside from his lovely voice and guitar-playing skills, his style was his most distinctive feature. He apparently loved his hair a lot and only trusted several people to cut it for him. Mr. Gill, his mother’s hairdresser, would be flown in whenever The King needed to get a trim. Mr. Gill knew just how much of an honor it was to do this and even kept some hair clippings. They were auctioned off after Elvis died of an overdose.

The King Is A Mamma’s Boy
Although he had quite a number of lovers and girlfriends over the years, there was just one woman in his life. It was none other than his mother, Gladys Presley. The two had a very good relationship, called each other by pet names, and even communicated in baby talk every now and then. They tried to remain close to each other. When her son was no longer around a lot, Gladys grew sicker and sicker. Needless to say, Elvis was heartbroken by her death.
