The local elephant herd completely accepted Tippi. As seen before, the animals were happy to give the little girl a lift and now we see the herd welcoming her in their cooling down time as well. Tippi is excitedly splashing the water in the local pond, but the elephant remains calm. This shows how the elephants trusted her.

Unconventional Lifestyle
Tippi’s lifestyle was very unconventional – from the kind of home she had to her clothing to the friends she made. Many young girls wear dresses, but she wore loin clothes and animal skins. Many young girls have purses, but she carried a suitcase that is made from local trees. While many young girls sleep with a favorite stuffed animal, Tippi snuggled with live animals. However, judging from this photo, she loved every second.
