Her Parents Were Wary At Times
Tippi once became friends with Mufasa, a lion cub, and many photos were taken of their moment together. A year after they first met, Tippi and her family visited Mufasa, who had grown into a really large cat. The lion was quite friendly with Tippi and gave her a friendly rub, but his tail almost knocked her over. This is why her parents stepped in and kept her far from the animal.

Tippi’s parents have no regrets about the decision that they made for their daughter. Sylvie explained, “For me it was incredible to think you offer all of this to a child, because I was at ease, because I liked it and because we had lived with the Meerkats in the Kalahari desert for six years before Tippi was born, I believed it was fantastic to have that to offer to a child compared to what I would be able to offer to a child living in a city for example.”
