Although his motive now for shaving off his beard is quite noble, it was still a decision that took an awful amount of thinking through before he could do anything. He appeared to even experience getting cold feet which were understandable as it would be such a significant change for him. A beard was useful to a duck hunter as it would help him camouflage in the environment. After doing a lot of thinking, Jase finally decided that saying goodbye to his beard would help their charity and their cause.

Problems Came With It
Even though beards are quite useful in the duck hunting field, they also come with a cost. Jase experienced getting held off at the airport and was subjected to an extremely thorough search because of his long beard. It was even longer since it was at the end of a season. Airport security felt the need to search him because of how he looked.
