The Barclay Twins – 7.2B GBP

Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay are twins, which is why they have commonly been referred to as “The Barclay Twins”. The identical billionaires have made their wealth by investing in the media, property, and retail industries. Born in London, their births were only ten minutes apart. They worked at GE first before they came painters and decorators. Together, they ran Candy Corner, a candy and tobacco shop before it shut down. That was when they launched Barclay Brothers, a decorating and building business that saw success over the years. The bulk of their wealth came from casinos, breweries, and the like.
