Idaho
Napoleon Dynamite, don’t we all love this movie? With countless lines that are easily quotable, the viewing style is strangely distinctive with the basic acting being a genuine masterpiece. This Idaho-set comedy is so kindhearted, let’s watch for the fab dance moves and blossom on the compassion. But if you’re looking for something a bit more unique the Idaho runner-ups include Toys, the comedy featuring Robin Williams, The River Wild, played by lunatics Kevin Bacon and John C. Reilly who cause chaos with Meryl Streep while on a whitewater rafting trip.
Illinois
Some director John Hughes’ brilliants filmed have been created in Chicago. But, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is possibly one of the more excellent ones as it has a more “Chicago” vibe compared to the rest. the comedy by Matthew Broderick teaches us to stop and look around us every so often. These characters in the film consider Chicago to be like their playground, and to watch is beyond inspiring. What do you think? Not so far behind are Illinois runner-ups: Barbershop, Rookie of the Year, Soul Food, The Sting, Stranger Than Fiction, The Blues Brothers, Eight Men Out, The Fugitive, A League of Their Own, Road to Perdition, Widows, Mean Girls, and…of course the beloved Chicago.
