Gabby Douglas is yet another one of the famous Fierce Five who made headlines back in the 2012 Summer Olympics. When you hear all about her achievements, you will see why she is considered to be such a groundbreaking pioneer. Although there are many gymnasts in the world, she still received the best scores for her Olympic level performances! Aside from that, she was the first African-American Olympian to be an individual all-around champ. She still has a long road ahead of her, and we are sure she will not fail to impress during the 2020 Tokyo games!

If you have not heard of her, perhaps you remember her as Antonija Misura instead. This is one female sports superstar who has accomplished more than most basketball players despite being only in her thirties. She has represented Croatia on the international level. Her finest hour came in 2009 when the basketball star helped the country land bronze during the Mediterranean Games held in Pescara. Nate Robinson of the NBA has even claimed that she “might be the most beautiful woman basketball player ever to lace up some sneakers.”
