Paula Faris, known for her work on “Good Morning America”, didn’t start her television career as quickly as some others. After graduating from Cedarville University in 1997, she worked a few jobs in the communications field, and even held a job with radio sales. She eventually started working as a production assistant at WKEF/WRGT and later to as an occasional reporter and anchor. From 2002-2005 she was the sports anchor at WCPO-TV in Cincinnati. She later became a sports reporter and anchor at the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago from 2005-2011. Faris then moved to ABC and debuted on ABC’s “World News Now” and “America This Morning”. Since 2018, she has been reporting for “Good Morning America” on weekdays, as well as hosting her faith podcast called “Journeys Of Faith”.

Katy Tur- $1.3 million

Katy Tur is the daughter of two successful journalists, so it’s no surprise which career path she chose for herself. After graduating from The University of California, Santa Barbara, Tur reported for KTLA, HD News/Cablevision, News 12 Brooklyn, WPIX-TV, and Fox 5 New York. She also briefly worked as a storm chaser for The Weather Channel on the network’s VORTEX2 team. In 2009, Tur started working for NBC as a broadcast journalist. In Tur’s new book, titled Unbelievable: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History, which was released in 2017, she shares her experience covering the 2016 presidential elections.
