Mother Of All Shipwrecks

When it comes to shipwrecks, people have dubbed what happened on the Florida shores in March 2018 to be the “Holy Grail” of all shipwrecks. It was the day that a sea vessel dating back from the 18th century washed up ashore. You can bet that the researchers had been so excited when they heard about it! The ship was mostly in ruins, so they decided to move it before they inspected it. Researchers also created a 3D model of it. Can you believe that it had been discovered by a mother-son duo when they were going for a stroll along the beach?

It seems like Florida is also a hotspot for shipwrecks and ghost ships. Some visitors discovered yet another one in September 2017. They found an abandoned sailing boat along the shore of Melbourne Beach and when they hopped aboard, they saw something unusual. All they found on the ship had been a velvet rose as well as a mannequin with a sign that read, “The beatings will continue until morale improves”. Bizarrely, it got washed out to the sea when Hurricane Irma hit and the owner failed to recover it as he had been spending time in jail.
