Simon and David Reuben are considered the sixtieth wealthiest people on the planet. Although they are English citizens, the two of them were born in India. Initially, the former actually went into the carpet industry and the latter worked in the scrap metal business. Simon did not finish formal schooling and went into business instead. After they invested in the Russian metals market, they experienced success with their aluminum business. The company even controlled seven percent of the aluminum output in the world at some point. They have since expanded into Morocco, South Africa, and Indonesia.

Billionaire Jim Ratcliffe is the founder of the chemical-maker mega-conglomerate called Ineos. Launched in 1998, the company has since reported an incredible turnover of a whopping 80 billion pounds! The University of Birmingham alumnus continues to own most of the shares in the company. A graduate of the chemical engineering program, he made a donation of 25 million pounds to his alma mater. He worked with Esso, the oil company, before he got an MBA from the London Business School. He then launched Inspec, the predecessor of Ineos. After, he founded Ineos under the parent company.
